Behind the filmmaker

My work centers on character-driven storytelling shaped by philosophical inquiry, visual precision, and emotional depth. Drawing from backgrounds in both film and philosophy, I approach cinema as an art form capable of revealing the contradictions beneath ordinary experience — the tensions between intimacy and alienation, identity and performance, fascination and fear.

After earning bachelor degrees in Film and Philosophy from Baylor University, I completed my MFA at Savannah College of Art and Design, where I further developed a cinematic voice rooted in atmosphere, psychological nuance, and collaborative craftsmanship. Across drama and horror alike, I seek to create films that are formally expressive, emotionally resonant, and enduring in their impact.
